First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at 200 adults with suspected hilar cholangiocarcinoma, a rare bile duct cancer. It compared two ways to take tissue samples: one using an endoscope through the mouth (EUS-FNA/B) and another using a scope to reach the bile duct (ERCP with or without a special camera). The goal was to see which method is more accurate and safer for diagnosis.
