First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested whether simple foot exercises can improve blood flow in the legs of people with type 2 diabetes. 44 adults with diabetes for at least 5 years did either foot exercises or regular activity for 3 months. Those who did the foot exercises had better blood flow in their lower legs, suggesting this is a safe, low-cost way to help manage diabetes-related circulation problems.
