Blood sugar levels may decide UTI cure success in diabetics
NCT ID NCT07188935
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at 99 adults with type 2 diabetes and repeated urinary tract infections (UTIs) to see if blood sugar control affects how well antibiotics work. Some patients had good blood sugar control, others did not. Doctors checked if the infection cleared after 14 days and if it returned within 30 days. The results help show why managing diabetes is important for fighting infections.
