NCT ID NCT06655740
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a new medical procedure, which uses radiofrequency energy to treat the lining of the small intestine, can help people with type 2 diabetes stop needing insulin therapy. The procedure is being tested alone and in combination with the medication semaglutide. The main goal is to see if it is safe and if participants can remain off insulin for 24 weeks while maintaining good blood sugar control.
