Could a bean and tomato snack bar help tame diabetes?
NCT ID NCT07255170
Summary
This study is testing a new snack bar called GlycoBite, made from red beans and tomatoes, to see if it can help people with type 2 diabetes manage their blood sugar. For three weeks, 100 participants will eat either the GlycoBite bar or a regular commercial snack bar daily. Researchers will measure their blood sugar and HbA1c levels to see if the special bar is more effective.
