Summary
This study tests whether diabetes self-management education, delivered in churches by trained community health workers, can help people with type 2 diabetes in the Marshall Islands better control their blood sugar. Up to 288 adults with diabetes and their family members will take part. The program focuses on teaching practical skills to manage diabetes and improve long-term health.
