First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study checks if an oral glucose tolerance test (drinking a sugary drink) can find type 2 diabetes in people from Guadeloupe who have risk factors but normal fasting blood sugar. About 120 adults of African or Indian origin will take part. The goal is to see if the current standard screening misses many cases in these groups.
