Scientists hunt for simple blood clues to predict diabetic heart risk
NCT ID NCT07362953
Summary
This study looked at whether three simple calculations from routine blood tests can help predict heart disease risk in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers analyzed data from over 2,100 adults with diabetes or prediabetes. The goal was to see if these easy-to-calculate 'indices' could help doctors spot high-risk patients earlier for better management.
