First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study followed 210 women who had gestational diabetes (GDM) and a similar group of women without it, about 8 years after pregnancy. Researchers measured blood sugar, insulin, and lifestyle factors to see who developed type 2 diabetes. The goal was to learn which risk factors matter most for later diabetes, without offering a new treatment.
