New study tests diabetes drug combos for heart protection

Summary
This study looks at how different diabetes medications affect heart and blood vessel function in people with type 2 diabetes who are at high risk for heart problems. About 240 participants will be split into four groups, each receiving a different drug combination. Researchers will measure changes in heart function and artery stiffness over 12 months.
