NCT ID NCT07564167

First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether injecting a sugar-water solution (dextrose prolotherapy) into the tailbone area can reduce pain and improve daily function in people with long-lasting tailbone pain (coccydynia). Thirty adults aged 18–75 whose pain has not improved with standard care will receive the injections. Researchers will measure pain levels and functional ability before treatment and one month after the final injection.
