Summary
This study tests whether giving a sedative called dexmedetomidine during liver transplant surgery can protect the new liver and other organs from damage. Researchers will measure a substance in the blood that shows how well the blood vessel lining is protected. The study involves 60 adults aged 18-60 with a specific liver disease severity score, and their donors must meet certain health criteria.
