Summary
This study looks at whether adding different amounts of dexmedetomidine to the standard painkiller bupivacaine can provide better pain relief during labor while using less bupivacaine. About 140 women in early labor will receive this combination through an epidural. The goal is to improve comfort and reduce side effects.
