First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests whether adding dexamethasone (an anti-inflammatory steroid) to a standard low-intensity chemotherapy combination is safe and tolerable for adults newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who cannot have intensive chemo. About 20 participants will receive the drug combo over six cycles. Researchers will track side effects and also measure quality of life and treatment response.
