First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving a single dose of the steroid dexamethasone during nasal surgery can improve sleep quality on the first night after the operation. About 102 adults having nasal surgery under general anesthesia will be randomly assigned to receive either dexamethasone or a placebo. The main goal is to see if the drug leads to better sleep, measured by a simple questionnaire.
