First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at whether Dex4 chewable tablets can replace the standard sugary drink used to diagnose gestational diabetes in pregnant women. 31 women who had a positive initial screening test took both the tablets and the drink on separate days. The goal was to see if the tablets cause fewer side effects like nausea while still giving accurate blood sugar results.
