Summary

This early study tests a new treatment called Descartes-08 for people with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), a chronic autoimmune disease. Six adults whose lupus remains active despite standard medications will receive these specially engineered immune cells. The main goals are to check safety and see if the therapy can reduce disease activity over 12 months.
