Summary
This study aims to understand why people with depression have a much higher risk of heart disease. Researchers will compare blood samples from 90 adults—some with depression and some without—to analyze specific fats and proteins. The goal is to uncover biological links between depression and cardiovascular health, not to test a treatment.
