NCT ID NCT05744830
First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a single implant in the lower jaw to support a denture could change hearing ability. Thirty adults aged 50-65 who had never worn dentures before had their hearing tested at several points: before and after getting a denture, after implant surgery, and after the implant was loaded. The goal was to measure any shifts in hearing thresholds using a standard hearing test.
