Summary
This study tested two over-the-counter gels placed under removable dentures to see if they could make dentures feel more comfortable and secure. It involved 67 older adults who wore dentures and focused on measuring their personal reports of comfort, how well the dentures stayed in place, and relief from dry mouth. The goal was to find simple, non-invasive ways to improve daily life for people who rely on dentures.
