Could 'Tunnel Vision' be causing dental errors? french study investigates
NCT ID NCT07266909
Summary
This study aims to understand how 'attentional tunneling'—when dentists focus too narrowly on one problem—affects their overall assessment and could lead to errors in patient care. Researchers will survey 160 French dental practitioners at different career levels using questionnaires. The goal is to measure awareness of this issue and identify ways to prevent it from impacting dental treatment quality.
