Summary

This study aims to understand how the body's immune system responds during a specific dental procedure (root canal retreatment) in people with and without type 2 diabetes. Researchers will compare three different methods for cleaning the tooth's root canal and measure related immune markers in fluid samples. The goal is to gather knowledge about how diabetes might influence healing and inflammation in the mouth.
