First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tested two ways to support dental implants placed right after tooth removal. 63 adults received implants using either a socket shield technique alone, or with a xenograft (bone substitute), or with a graft made from the patient's own tooth. The goal was to see which method gave better implant stability and gum appearance.
