Summary

This study looks at how gum tissue changes around dental implants when using two different types of healing caps: one made from a special plastic called PEEK and a standard one. About 38 adults who need a single back tooth replaced will be randomly assigned to one of the two caps. The goal is to see if the PEEK cap leads to better gum shape and health around the implant.
