NCT ID NCT07456995
First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tested whether special coatings on the metal part of a dental crown help keep it attached to the implant. Twenty-seven adults with a missing lower molar received a zirconia crown with one of three different metal base treatments. The researchers checked the crowns for one year to see which treatment best prevented loosening or breakage and kept the gums healthy.
