New dengue shot tested on seniors in major safety trial
NCT ID NCT06891950
Summary
This study is testing whether a dengue vaccine is safe and produces a strong immune response in older adults (ages 60-79) compared to middle-aged adults (40-59). Researchers will give the vaccine to about 1,000 healthy participants and track their antibody levels and any side effects for one year. The goal is to see if the vaccine works as well for seniors as it does for younger adults.
