Can fun group sessions slow Dementia's grip?

NCT ID NCT06978972

Summary

This small study tested whether a program of themed group activities could help improve thinking skills and engagement for people with mild-to-moderate dementia living in nursing homes. Ten residents participated in twice-weekly sessions for seven weeks, doing things like word games, discussions, and creative tasks. Researchers measured their memory and attention before and after to see if the activities made a difference.
