Summary
This study aims to find the best way to manage severe, restless confusion (agitated delirium) in hospitalized patients with advanced cancer who are receiving comfort-focused care. Researchers are comparing four different medication approaches using the drugs haloperidol and lorazepam to see which best calms patients and reduces distress for both patients and their caregivers. The goal is to improve comfort and quality of life during a very difficult time.
