Heart surgery risk score may predict Post-Op confusion

NCT ID NCT05218720

First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study followed 100 adults having planned heart surgery to see how often they developed delirium (sudden confusion) afterward. Researchers checked if a standard risk score called EuroSCORE II could help predict who might get delirium. The goal was to better understand the link between surgical risk and this common complication.
