NCT ID NCT06966466
First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests if a special compression vest (called HUGgy) can help children aged 3 to 10 feel less agitated and confused after waking up from tonsil and adenoid surgery. Half the children will wear the vest in the recovery room, while the other half receive standard care. Researchers will measure agitation levels and pain to see if this simple, drug-free approach improves recovery.
