First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether a single injection of a patient's own immune cells (dendritic cells and lymphocytes) can reduce protein in the urine, a sign of kidney damage, in people with type 2 diabetes. Eighty adults with diabetic kidney disease will receive the injection and be monitored for four weeks. The goal is to see if this approach can control the disease and improve kidney health.
