Daytime feeding could fix nighttime health problems
NCT ID NCT04743960
Summary
This study tested whether changing the timing of nutritional feeding from overnight to daytime could improve blood sugar control and sleep quality for people with short bowel syndrome. Twenty patients tried their usual overnight feeding for one week, then switched to daytime feeding for another week while researchers measured their glucose levels and sleep patterns. The goal was to find a simple, cost-effective way to manage common health complications in this patient group.
