Alpha rays zapped into tumors: new hope for skin cancer patients?

Summary
This study tests a new device that delivers a special type of radiation (alpha rays) directly into tumors on the skin, inside the mouth, or in soft tissues. The goal is to see if it can shrink or control these cancers and to check for side effects. About 30 adults with tumors up to 7 centimeters will take part.
