New radiation 'Seed' device takes on Hard-to-Treat head and neck cancer

Summary

This study is for people with advanced head and neck cancer that has come back or spread. It tests a special device placed directly into the tumor that gives off a unique type of radiation (alpha rays) combined with an immunotherapy drug called pembrolizumab. The goal is to see if this combination can shrink tumors and help control the cancer. About 48 adults will take part.
