First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This phase 2 trial tests whether adding dapagliflozin, a common diabetes medication, to standard hormone therapy can help control metastatic prostate cancer better than hormone therapy alone. About 60 adults with advanced prostate cancer that has spread and is no longer responding to standard hormone treatment will participate. The study aims to see if the combination extends the time before the cancer progresses.
