First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests if special smart socks (DANU) can accurately measure walking and balance in people with Parkinson's. Researchers will compare results from 60 participants (30 with Parkinson's and 30 healthy older adults) during a single lab visit. The goal is to see if sock data relates to disease severity and thinking skills, which could lead to easier monitoring at home.
