First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at whether playing a dance-based video game (like Just Dance) could help young adults with ADHD improve their attention, mood, and self-control. Sixty-nine people aged 18 to 24 with ADHD took part. They were randomly assigned to either dance gaming, stationary biking, or just listening to music, and then their brain activity, focus, and balance were measured. The goal was to see if fun, active games could be a helpful addition to standard ADHD treatments.
