Summary
This study looked at whether a special bandage (DACC-coated hydrogel) can help treat severe skin burns caused by radiation therapy in women with breast cancer. 18 women who had radiation for breast cancer and developed painful skin burns were included. The bandage was used to reduce pain and help the skin heal.
