Summary

This study tests whether a combination of two drugs, dabrafenib and trametinib, can help adults with a specific type of advanced thyroid cancer (BRAF V600E mutation) that no longer responds to radioactive iodine or other targeted therapies. About 153 participants will receive either the drug combo or a placebo. The main goal is to see if the combination slows cancer growth. This is not a cure, as ongoing treatment is needed to control the disease.
