First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at whether the da Vinci surgical robot can safely perform nipple-sparing mastectomy in women at high risk for breast cancer. About 145 women aged 18-80 with small to moderate breasts and no active cancer on the treated side will take part. The main goals are to see if the robot can complete the surgery without switching to open surgery and to track any side effects.
