First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests a new medicine called DA-5218 for people with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar is still too high despite taking metformin. About 238 adults will receive either DA-5218 or another active drug to see which better lowers HbA1c (a measure of blood sugar control over time). The trial is double-blind, meaning neither patients nor doctors know who gets which treatment, and it is not yet recruiting participants.
