New drug targets hard-to-treat cancer mutation in early trial

Summary

This early-stage study tests a new drug, D3S-003, in people with advanced solid tumors that have a specific genetic change called KRAS p.G12D. The main goals are to check the drug's safety, find the best dose, and see if it can shrink tumors. About 42 participants whose cancer has not responded to standard treatments will take part.
