NCT ID NCT06626230
First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This early-stage study tests whether curcumin, a natural compound found in turmeric, can safely reverse high-grade anal precancerous cells in people living with HIV. The goal is to find a gentler alternative to current treatments like surgery or heat ablation, which can have side effects. Researchers will enroll 48 adults aged 30 and older to determine the highest safe dose and monitor for any toxicities.
