First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study compares a curcumin (turmeric) nanogel to a standard steroid paste for treating painful mouth sores caused by oral lichen planus. About 30 adults with confirmed disease will apply one of the two treatments for several weeks. The goal is to see if the natural gel works as well as the steroid but with fewer side effects.
