Radiotherapy boost may stall lung cancer progression

Summary
This study tests whether adding targeted radiotherapy to usual drug treatments can slow the growth or spread of lung cancer in people with metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer. About 320 participants whose cancer has started to grow in a limited number of spots while on first-line therapy will receive either standard care alone or standard care plus radiotherapy. The goal is to see if this combination improves how long the cancer stays controlled and overall survival.
