This study aims to find out how often people develop a serious lung condition called chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) after having a blood clot in the lungs (pulmonary embolism). Researchers will use heart ultrasounds to look for early signs of heart strain in 100 adults who had a moderate-to-severe clot. The goal is to better predict who might develop CTEPH, so they can be monitored and treated earlier.

Inclusion Criteria: Any patient diagnosed as acute pulmonary embolism ,aged between 18-80 years old which Pulmonary Embolism Severity Index (PESI) class III-V or sPESI ≥1, Exclusion Criteria: Secondary causes for pulmonary hypertension Severe kidney injury(eGFR\>30 mg/dl/1.7m2) Hepatic affection Contraindication to anti-coagulation
