Freeze away skin tags: new device tested against standard remover

NCT ID NCT07355543

First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study compares a new freezing device (Nitrofreeze Skin Tag) to a standard over-the-counter remover for getting rid of skin tags. About 56 healthy adults with one or more skin tags on the neck, chest, back, groin, or underarm will be treated up to three times. A blinded doctor will check if the skin tag disappears completely. The goal is to see which device works better and is safer.
