Freezing heart tissue to stop lethal rhythms: new trial underway

Summary
This study tests a new device that uses extreme cold to destroy small areas of heart tissue causing dangerous rapid heartbeats (ventricular tachycardia). About 206 adults with this condition will receive the procedure. The goal is to see if the freezing technique is safe and prevents future episodes without needing extra medications.
