Freezing heart tissue may stop erratic beats in new trial

Summary
This study tests a new device that freezes small areas of heart tissue to treat a type of irregular heartbeat called paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. 128 people with symptoms that don't improve with medication will receive the freezing treatment and be monitored for 12 months. The goal is to see if the device safely prevents heart rhythm problems from coming back.
