Frozen shoulder breakthrough: cross training may ease pain without touching the sore arm
NCT ID NCT07510737
First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a new approach for frozen shoulder: instead of exercising the painful shoulder, participants will do resistance training with their healthy arm only. The goal is to see if this 'cross training' can improve shoulder strength, movement, and daily function. About 38 adults aged 18-65 with frozen shoulder will be randomly assigned to either standard care or cross training, and results will be measured through pain and disability scores.
